I am a Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor
I’ve been exploring, practicing and teaching the Iyengar technique since 1983.
I spent many years exploring the subject of yoga for women and wrote a practice manual on Yoga for Menstruation (available for purchase) to support women with understanding how to practice and why to make the changes suggested.
I founded two private studios, and am a founding member and faculty of the Iyengar Yoga Association of Greater New York. I teach weekly public classes, private yoga sessions, workshops on a vast array of subjects and retreats in lovely locations world-wide.
Through three and a half decades as an Iyengar Yoga Instructor, I have been seeking within the Iyengar system ways to help my students and myself maintain health.
